One Idea To Keep Your Group Engaged

This Saturday night is Day Light Savings (Set your clocks back 1 hour).

As the days grow shorter, the weather grows colder, and COVID numbers rise in our community, your group may be wrestling with the need to change your meeting format.

Most Community Groups at Northridge met in-person or a hybrid mix of in-person and online to start the fall, but more groups are moving toward online meetings.

Whether you've been meeting online since March, or you are moving that direction again, groups online can begin to feel like a grind.

One way to add a little life to your online meetings (or in-person meetings) is with great ice breakers.

Josh Horn to the rescue!!

Josh, our Northridge Outreach Executive Director, created 6 weeks worth of "Guess That Pun" ice breaker slides for his online Starting Point and Community Groups.

He was kind enough to share them with us.

You can open up the Power Point or PDF slides on your computer and display them on your screen in an online group, or on a TV with your in-person group.

This is one simple way to have some fun with your group and help people engage.

What is something new your group has tried this fall to help everyone engage in this season?

Email me HERE, I'd love to pass along your ideas.
